I would want to hear what the warning is (is it a voice or just an alarm) might be smart to say something like "Stand Clear Administering Shock in 5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. 1.. Administering Shock, [sHOCK] All Clear" give the public (and us) and warning as to what is going on.

"Mommy, Daddy, why is that man's shirt talking like a launch count down?"

"Yo no hablo ingles"

OK, someone will figure it out.

One of my good friends was giving one to wear before he got his implanted defib placed. He was 38 years old and went in to cardiac arrest and was fibrillated once by law enforcement. Quite the device.

Finally a topic I learned something truly useful from. Thanks for posting this one.

We were recently inserviced on the Zoll auto compressor at work for doing compressions during codes. I hope this device is a whole lot more functional and easier to deal with.

Hey I am an EMT that currently works in a hospital in downtown Atlanta. We have these vest at our hospital for those pt who need an ICD's we just had out inservice on them so we will see how they work out. I think that they are a great idea.
