celticcare Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 I guess just monitor, continue to administer care to alleviate symptoms, save a sample of the vomitus for the medical staff and continue supportive cares and remain non judgemental. Just a question, is the fishy smelling vomitus actually fish from dinner? I can't think of any other meds or anything other than omega three or fish oil capsules that would make it smell like fish....
joesph Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 fishy has me stumped but I think she injested something caustic and it is irritating her digestive system or she is bleeding internally also question what she took get a als rendezvous and treat for shock. If ingested substance meets protocol give activated charcoal. lets do a head to toe for injury sites or injection sites. and I would be ready to do a fluid challenge if she keeps losing BP ABC protect airway and get on down the road

But just dont light a match around her if she farts!
