He was saying they've already created vessels for bypass and varicose repairs, hearts, and at least one other. This is so cool. I wonder how long it will be before this technology can actually be used to save lives.
Richard B the EMT Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 How soon before the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) publicly go up in arms against this "cruel usage of animals" knocks the research down. Me personally? I'd give a guesstimate of a replacement grown human heart sometimes within a 20 year window. Before anyone asks, I base that on a total guess, based not on any facts currently in evidence, but extrapolating on current science. Also, I am kind of a member of the OTHER PETA: People Eating Tasty Animals.
