TDP Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Try getting a job with a goverment agency. Generally, they don't really shaft their employees or atleast in Canada anyways. Goodluck, its not the end of the world! cheers
crotchitymedic1986 Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 sorry to hear that -- remember it is not what you know, but who you know when it comes to a job search. Call everyone you have ever known, and see if they, a friend of theirs, or a relative of theirs can hook you up
fireflymedic Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Sorry to hear that but I thought you were in local fire? Am I wrong in that? If you are - dang I'm sure there's more to come !
joesph Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 right know the US census bureau is hiring in every state to begin mapping and prepare for the 2010 census if you can hook up with them it could be good for two yrs. It doesnt pay well but its somethin.
tskstorm Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 Certainly would help with general advice if I had some idea where you worked previously. Why truck driving? Driving school buses pays really well here... Just a thought ..
