Hello all, First post here. I am currently taking EMT-B classes in MA and wanted to move back to the Vegas area. From what I can find online I can take the NREMT exam and I'm lost from there. Can I even take the National in MA?? Then I heard I need to contact Clark County something or other...I'm lost so any advice would be great. Also, I'm open to working in the hospital as a tech if it's Kosher in Nevada with an EMT certification. Thank you guys.

1st Google hit

http://dhhs.nv.gov/

Sittin in Canada nonetheless

Yeah, thanks..Clark County seems to operate by themselves so you posting a wonderful link to something that is completely useless for me does me no good. Thanks....

I'm glad siting in Canada allows you to use google but maybe later on they will teach you to read the actual post before just linking crap that doesn't help anybody. http://health.nv.gov/EMS_Regions.htm----You cannot click on Clark County (Las Vegas) because Dhhs of Nevada doesn't make the rules for that particular region of the state. It seems Southern Nevada has their own Dhhs division.

And I'm not trying to come off as a dick being this is my first post in these forums it's just I really don't need stupid remarks.

Also I hope CBEMT weeps for the future in accordance that he still just blindly agrees with wrong information that other forum members post.

The problem I'm trying to convey is that I'm getting wrong info from everyone and no one seems to know where I can find any answers out. I've e-mailed http://www.southernnevadahealthdistrict.org/ems/ems.htm several times without a response back.

This post seemed like it came off angry and I didn't mean for it to at all.

Thanks,

Rich

Yes, you did. Two wrongs don't make a right. If you don't like a reply you get here, you can take it, leave it, or report it. But sparring with them is not an option. Move on.

Good luck in your search.

Or you could ask somebody at the Nevada Department of Health.

You asked

How do I go about getting in touch with them??

I gave you a link entitled

Welcome to the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services website

Under contact it says

DEPT. OF HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES

4126 Technology Way, Suite 100

Carson City, Nevada 89706-2009

(775) 684-4000

(775) 684-4010 Fax

How the hell am I supposed to know if they have the info you need or not??

You asked a straightforward question, and I answered it... read the above quotes if this is still over your head.

That's too bad for you.... however, not our problem!

I gave you what I thought you wanted.... since, after all, it was EXACTLY what you asked for. A stupid remark? I think not.

Your right first impressions are important. There are a handful of "regular" posters here whom hold a wealth of knowledge, you may not want to pi$$ anyone off just yet.

Good luck in your search, as I believe you will find no one here will help you any further after your smart-a$$ comments.
