Dustdevil Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Why can't a question ever be answered without somebody trying to preach their personal Utopia for the 349485856374698756985th time? A more relevant question is, 'why can't people just get it the first 349485856374698756984 times?'

spenac Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 I would say have your medical director put on a class about denying patients transport per your protocols. If you can not deny then have it on your refusal policy. I see many that just get signature yet the protocols clearly state X number of vitals and must answer certain questions. Definitly a good CYA CE class.
AZCEP Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Along a similar line to spenac's suggestion, bring in an attorney with EMS experience to discuss documentation. Always good to hear what will end up frying you in court.
