Re Castrati singers:

There was a video that I saw of a Castrati soprano singer, that I saw on the Public Broadcasting System. As this included an interview with the person, and sound films have only been around from roughly 1927 (Al Jolson in "The Jazz Singer"), somebody's facts might need reexamination.

The question if MJ was a Castrati has been being asked from at least 1980, and if there is a definite answer, I wasn't privy to it.

Us Weekly just released the video of Michael Jackson's 1984 Pepsi commercial (where his hair caught on fire from a premature detonation of pyrotechnics).

I'm really surprised it took twenty-five years for that footage to come out.

They could have easily won the $10k grand prize on America's Funniest Home Videos with that.

I don't know about that, but I am surprised Pepsi didn't use the part with him going down the stairs with flames shooting from his hair. The marketing department could have had a field day with that footage.

I think it was already released, or else how would I remember seeing it on the NBC Nightly News, the day after it happened?

I remember seeing one grainy still image, but never the video before now.

They're saying on TV that this is the first time it's been released.

God be Praised, Nuff Said.

Yes, how christian of you to praise your god for one's death...he is a mighty, all loving and all forgiving one isn't he...

I seem to also remember that, until he recorded both the audio and video for "Thriller", he was a practicing Jehova's Witness.
