There is a new (to me, at least) show on ID called "Call 911", which seems to be a lower budget version of "Rescue 911", without the overhead of Bill Shatner's salary. They interview the actual dispatchers, rescuers, and victims and bystanders while re-enacting the stories.

They had one tonight where a woman calls in and says, "I have a 3 month old kid and she's not breathing!" They talk her through CPR and send FD screaming out only to arrive and find out she said KITTEN, not "kid and".

But the kitten died.

Does anyone know the effacacy of properly performed UPS, as opposed to the mortality/mobidity rates? :P:lol::lol::lol:

I don't know the exact numbers, but I am sure that they are better than the USPS! :D

In ideal conditions, I think it's the most efficient. But when you factor in rain, sleet, snow, or gloom of night, arrival to destination ER greatly falls. I recommend the USPS algorithm for that.
