New EMT-I about to be on the streets

Hey everyone.

I graduated emt-i class in june, took my test in july and passed!!!! I'm soooo excited to start working on the ambulance.. I'm soo ready.. or atleast, I think I am. I"m fulll of energy, young, and I'm getting "out of control" with all the ems stuff I've been buying. I feel kinda dorkish, but it's exciting that my dreams are coming true... I really hope this excitement doesn't fade away.. I am very sympathetic, even if it is just a "broken toe" call. LOL. yaaaay... I just look up so much to all of the medics, emt's, flight-medics, firefighters, firemedics, etc,.. that have so much more experience and knowledge than me.. I wish I could experience what some of you all have experienced, but i'm sure in "due-time" I will experience it.... My kids are sooo happy that I'm on the ambulance.. next step is Paramedic school.
