JPINFV Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Linky ...and to answer the question, no, my tap water can't do that.
cosgrojo Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Holy Cow... The town has been trying to convince me to convert to natural gas, and away from oil... don't think so now...
Richard B the EMT Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 If memory serves me correctly, Johnny and Roy responded to a situation like that. It turned out the gas company repair guys were attempting to flush it's 600 PSI natural gas lines with an 80 PSI water main feed. 1
scubanurse Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 wow that's kinda freaky... water on fire??
mobey Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Believe your eyes..... I have seen this 1st hand on a neighboring farm. The dude had a hydrant in his front yard that he could light on fire with a small bottle torch (lighter was not hot enough). Had nothing to do with rigs though.... just a natural gas seam in his water run.
Richard B the EMT Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 wow that's kinda freaky... water on fire?? Perhaps you have to pour gasoline on it to extinguish the fire? LOL. 1
