I think its terrible that the man died, but a great precedent to set. How many in EMS have succumbed to a job aquired illness, yet no LODD benefit? All municipal EMS agencies should pay attention to this case, it could be used to help with the financial needs of EMS families who's loved ones have died due to job related illness.
