The basics were in high school, but things like electron shell configuration, partial positives, and the such were more college chem, and things like electronegativity is the underpinning of organic chemistry. I honestly don't remember much of high school chem.

However, if you look towards the middle, there's another hydrogen oxygen atom that's double bonded to a carbon atom.

It's an oxygen up there... especially since hydrogen doesn't double bond. :whistle:
