Has anyone actually used these:

Pros, cons, information basically. New industry in the area, may be worthy to have better equipment. Currently, we carry no burn kit. We have what's required by licensure, and that's it. A recent call sparked some feelings that maybe we need a small supply of burn dressings, other than sterile sheets. Burn Gel, Water Jel, etc., are not possibilities. I did order some LSP Burn Towels, but that's about it.

Wow, that's a blast from the past, right out of the 1973 Dyna*Med catalogue. I'm pretty sure I still have a 30 year old Roehampton kit in my garage somewhere.

I did use Roehampton dressings a couple of times in the 70's and early 80's. I can't say I really recall anything particularly unique, pro or con, about them. I wasn't sure they were still made, as it's all about the BurnGel dressings these days. That's practically all we had in Iraq, from 2x2 to full-body dressings. Not to suggest that the military is always right in their choices, but it's still a pretty good sign.

I haven't done any recent research into the different theories on field burn care, but I'd sure be interested in any good papers that are out there.

That's kind how I got the idea to check into them. I found a set in the base of my Dyna-Med Trauma II Kit.
