I think we have at least nine boxes of assorted "Adhesive Bandages", Moore Brand, Snoopy and Sponge Bob on the ambulance. All sizes, shapes, etc. The previous regime that ran the place horded useless equipment; and underused equipment. Like Trauma Dressings. Rarely will I go for a 12x30, no matter what the injury. The same as those shell dressings that turned up when the Military surplussed the Cold War. Just too big. Well, they had six cases in the closet. That's like 150 Trauma Dressings, ten years old and yellowing rapidly.

Band-Aids is indeed a brand name, but NY State EMTs are not allowed to use them, as it is considered a "completed treatment", therefore not within EMT Scope Of Practice. We still have to carry them, so we can give them to a Crack Ho, whose child got a skinned knee, that they might put it on the youngun. (Sarcasm heavily intended)

yall seriously aren't allowed to use band-aids... thats... ohmm... special
