dmcourtney21 Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Hey all I'm currently on a waiting list for the army, I leave for basic training on May 9th. I'm going in as a combat medic, I'm just wondering if anyone could help me find a program that I can finish within the next 3-4 months that will help me on the NREMT exam so I can get certified and not be so lost when I go through training for the army. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Also are courses neccessary? Are there any resources that I can study for the test in lieu of taking a calss? Thank you again and I hope to hear from all of you soon
Andrea Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 If you are looking for an EMT program in order to get certified before you join the Army, you could check with your local Fire Departments and colleges.
Richard B the EMT Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Whatever you're going to do, just know that Civilian and Military Triage protocols are supposed to be at opposits in many categories.
