I am a 24 y/o male paramedic, currently working full time bradley county EMS in cleveland, TN...and part-time at Memorial hospital EMS in chattanoooga, TN. I am happily married, and have a 2 y/o daughter. I have been in the healthcare business since i was 17...and got into EMS as a back door route into nursing. Little did i know at the time...that EMS would get in your blood and you wouldnt want to do anything else...did an accelerated emt-iv program...then got my medic...i love my job...the people the patients the experiences...nice to meet all of you i hope to use this site to build new friendships and also as a resource for my career.

PS...had a pt w/ an inferior MI the other day...lil electricity and a lil amniodarone later he was in the cath lab w/ 100% blockage of his RCA...he's alive and well thanks to gods intervention through my hands...love that feeling...makes all the BS worth it

Welcome to the city, and congrats on the call. Once in awhile what we do really does matter, doesn't it?

Welcome! My name is Brian and I am a 24 year old EMT student here in NJ. I am also new to EMT City. I would just like to say that your background is truly inspiring. I myself hope to one day be a paramedic. Thanks for sharing. It gave me some great extra motivation! Not that I’m ever really lacking in that department, but a little extra never hurts! Thanks and welcome again!
