Eye Protection... I absolutely hate when my sun glasses, safety glasses, etc., are cheap and scratched.. or fog up easily. The ambulance is equipped with eye protection for both patient care, and auto extrication. However, if they're on the ambulance, that's where they stay. So, I don't use what's provided, I provide my own that I can take with me. I have a shoebox half full of equipment manufacturer freebie eye protection. I like something that has a grey-smoky tint, for protection from flying crap - literally, and UV. They're intended for use during equipment demos, so they're all top rated for all aspects of Rescue, which includes EMS.

I carry a pair of Stanley safety glasses, the kind that go over your prescription glasses. When I'm not using them, I keep them covered in a glove so the lens don't get scratched.
