How Bleeding Causes Rigidity?

Perhaps blood in itself doesnt cause irritation. However, occult bleeding is usually caused by some sort of pathology. So I would expect that foreign bacteria and other intestinal contents present in the blood would certainly cause some irritation of the abdominal cavity.
