Very interesting. Possibly a mild flush. I have overdone niacin before and it was very different? I thought i was going into anaphylaxis. Scared the crap out of me.

I would suspect that if we looked at the label of the juice she drank we would see quite a high number for niacin. May not be a full niacin flush but she did say it wasn't a major incident but dizzy and lips numb.

I have a health food/supplement supplier and I'll ask her what she thinks.

Thanks. I will be interested to hear what the health food professionals say. The juice was fresh so I didn't have the benefit of a label.

Actually, I recently had to stop eating grapefruit due to numb lips after eating them.

Didn't put much thought into it.... just chalked it up to a allergic reaction of some sort.
