R.I.P my brother and fellow freedom fighter you shall be remembered.

I am so saddened. I knew he was ill and I should have known that only something life threatening would take him out of the profession he loved. As a newbie, he scared the crap out of me. As I gained experience and knowledge in the field, Rob was the touchstone I used to make sure I wasn't deluding myself. A compliment from him meant the world to me. I will miss you Rob. Rest in Peace.

I'll always remember when we first got video chat. About nine of us, talked face to face, till the sun came up. I respected Mr. Davis, and found him to be a decent, competent, e-mentor. RIP.

I once said, this isn't a forum, it's a community without a border. Dust was our Mayor...

I'm absolutely devastated. He was such an incredible guy. I talked to him less than a week ago, and he was doing so well...absolutely devastated. Rest in peace my friend. May we meet again outside of Texas!

This is a terrible loss. Rob provided advice on here from when I first started paramedic training, helped me with my resume when I started looking for my first job and then I had the pleasure of meeting him at the CAP Lab a few years ago. He always encouraged everyone to always strive for more. I hope he knew the impact he had and how much he will be missed.

I can honestly say that if it weren't for Rob (Dustdevil) I would not be an EMT anymore, nore would I be a medic student hopeful who even though I will not walk out with a degree in EMS I will walk out with knowledge that will make me more than just a patch mill medic. I tried medic school once before and Dust (and a few others) told me you really don't want to go that route and me being the punk kid I was thought I knew better so I did it anyway and guess what I failed out. But that was a good thing for me because I walked out with my head held high and I drove straight from that little patch mill to the local college and I enrolled in A and P classes as well as every other class that both he and AK have always been so vocal about and now two years later I am applying for Paramedic school once again, with the knowledge to be the kind of provider that would make him proud.

Dust you inspired me and I will get through medic this time around come hell or high water and I will do it in memory of you man. See ya in that dispatch center in the sky.
