Hi, all my names Robert a few months ago I decided I needed to make a change. So I signed up for a EMT-B course something I should have done along time ago. So I found this place and plan on using this forum as a plan to learn. If anyone has any suggestions on getting started let me know.

Welcome.

Here are my suggestions.

Read.

A lot.

Ask questions.

Lots of them.

Study.

A lot.

Recognize that EMT-B is barely the beginning. Don't stop there. Don't stop learning. Don't stop trying to achieve more. Most importantly, don't settle.

Not even a little.

I should also add that when you're asking questions be prepared with an answer. I guarantee you that when you ask a question here one of the first questions you'll receive in response (if you don't include this part in your post) will be, "What do you think the answer is to your question?"

Make an honest effort to find an answer. Then ask your question. You will get a much warmer response to your question.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
