Hmmm, beside the fact that I am now in the bushes writing apology letters to every one in this forum with special notes to a Grey Haired lady, Praying that I cannot be seen from the air with.....Dust do you have night vision goggles? or Nate's death dictionary LMAO!

The Canadian equivalency:

Would you believe:

Certified in the use of the deadly AAA 2 cell flashlight, waiting for the LED endorsement to be approved,

Sometimes when it get really scary I pack a concealed laser pointer.

Certified in the use of physiological interpersonal repellents, SVLB (spontaneous voluntary loss of bowel)

Certified in NHCT, ninja hemostat control techniques, but only the mall certification.

Certified in the very deadly tactical D tank, oops that one is secret!

Killer squint.

As an EMS typically we are not allowed to carry "weapons" but an Ambulance has a lot of things one can "improvise" with...

Lotsa sharp things to poke eyes out with, slug with your O2 tank, restrain with velcro straps, and "dart the opressor" with sedative drugs...

I work EMS in NYC and we don't carry weapons as such. We are issued bullet-proof vests and radios. So if we get in trouble we basically key up the radio and pray... but you would be amazed how many cops you can get at your side after shouting a 10-13 or 10-85 over the radio.

Not sure about Texas law, but that would be fine in CA. I'm sure the Texas laws are not as strict as ours, CA is not very gun friendly.

Oh, ok. I'm not in Texas. I'm in the Bay Area! :-)

Thanks for the info.. that's good to know. :P

Nice. I wish my agencies had bullet-proof radios. Cheap crap they buy isn't even waterproof! :?

Issued and carry a Sig P229R DAK, .357 Sig. Great weapon, but I'd prefer 9mm for international travel. If my ammo got lost I'd be hard pressed to find .357 Sig outside of, well, pretty much Washington DC or on a CONUS flight with a FAM.

Have a Rock River M4 with EOTech holographic site, gangster grip, and SureFire combat light as well. Heard something about getting HK's version of the M4, but I didn't even know they had one.

Have a 21" Featherweight ASP and Fox Labs OC spray. I'm also a Fox Labs OC instructor. Well, I am but I haven't got my certificate yet.

Our number one weapon though is our Audi A8 (L) or Tahoe, while we're in the States anyway 8)

Well as a standard we carry Glock 22 (40 cal), a Bushmaster AR (size and optics could be either a 16" with colapse. stock or a 20" heavy with a full stock and optics being a Reflex 2 for close in or thermal for distance and special circumstances) chemical and impact weapon of choice. As for any aux equipment or tools it would depend upon the team position and personnal preference.
