____Hospital ED: Why didn't you guys call this in?

Me: We tried, but couldn't get _____ to respond to the call. We would have called on our cell phones, but we were in the driveway by the time we made the second attempt.

I rode with a service that gave all reports by cell phone to the receiving hospital. It resolved the "ignored" radio communication problems.
