This site is a great resource for current and future EMS personnel. I look forward to being in this community. I have over 10 years of Ems experience, but I still feel like a rookie. I'm currently trying to develop an interactive/simulation EMT and paramedic video game on all mobile devices. I would like to share my website and game, so I can get some feedback and suggestions. This game is for ems people and to introduce ems to non medically trained players as well.

If it's of to post the website address, please let me know. Cheers

Hi Tray,

Welcome to the City!

Is there a charge to play your game? If not, is it a money making endeavor for you in another way?

If not, then I see no issues with you posting the link, even if it's something that you're developing but plan to make money on at some time in the distant future.

If so, then you'll need to approach Admin directly for that decision.

I certainly do appreciate the respect that you've shown by asking permission before doing so. As well, I look forward to checking it out!

If you're not sure, PM me the link and though I'm no expert on what's right or wrong will do my best to advise...

Good to have you!

Hello! This is a cool forum, I was looking up stuff for our MRC training disaster scenario at a local hospital, simulation plane crash:) it was fun!!

My husband is an ObGyn/surgeon, I'm an NAEMT and chemist. I love volunteering for CERT and MRC (med reserves core for county,) so cool to work with other EMS, docs, nurses, public health etc. Most ppl don't get our senses of humour, so it might be fun to meet other EMS around the country or world. Here's a cool link for those who are studying or want to brush up, etc

http://www.emtsource.org/index.php

It has all the acronyms etc, there's even more than when I was working full time!! I miss that crazy, hectic schedule so volunteering it really fun, I LOVE all the scenarios: earthquake, chemical spills (can someone pass the Atropine?) anthrax , ok not as thrilling giving out Cipro to thousands of ppl:) if there are any chemistry buffs, who love EMS love to hear from you.

... I'm an NAEMT and chemist.

The NAEMT doesn't certify EMS providers. Can you please clarify what you mean by claiming to be a "NAEMT"?

Chemistry, on the other hand, can be quite fun.

DwayneEMTP,

I appreciate the warm welcome. My game will be sold and it is in early development and funding stage. Besides working in the 911 system for a private ambulance company, I am a paramedic instructor as well. This is were the game originated from, for I saw more and more paramedic students with no experience. This game was to help anyone learn the art of multi tasking and delegating your on scene crew members to deliver fast and correct treatment for a critical patient.

I hope you to hear your input about the game and please pass the word around.

Thanks
