Richard B the EMT Posted April 18, 2012 Author Posted April 18, 2012 I hope nobody is cheating, as in inheriting the old family runabouts. For me, that would have me including a 1970 Plymouth Valiant 100 (on which I earned my driver's license), a 1972 Chevrolet Kingswood Estate station wagon, and both a 1979 and 1980 Plymouth Horizon, all of which had been owned by Momma and Poppa B, and I was allowed to drive, prior to the original list of cars I owned (see opening posting of this string). A mention: I have only owned, never leased.

Bieber Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 First car was a white '92 Honda Accord coupe. Second car was a silver 2002 Saturn L200 sedan. Current car is a charcoal grey 2006 Toyota Prius. 45-50 mpg? My wallet is happy. =) And I happen to think it looks pretty snazzy.
BushyFromOz Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Lets see............ No. 1 was a 1963 volkswagon station wagon then there was the toyota corolla liftback around a late 70's model followed by the (i think) the 1980's ford falcom XD s pack with manual transmission) after that came my late 80's Holden VL commodore 5 speed then my toyota Hilux petrol 4X4 then my first Nissan patrol wagon (petrol dx model) (written off by a truck that ran thru a stop sign) followed by mu Nissan GU Patrol wagon diesel turbo 5 speed ( again written off when it was smashed into by a drunk drive as it was parked in the street) and my current drive is a 2005 Kia Sorento EX 3 litre petrol manual that list doesn't count the cars that my wife has owned in the time we have been together either....... looking to get a new one this year though................... You went from a GU to a kia sorrento?? what a downgrade!! 1988 VN commodore - written off in a hit/run in Parramatta 2005 Holden Astra - which is just a rebadged Opel Astra 2011 Holden Colorado - rebadged isuzu D-max
Kiwiology Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Gosh I'm so bloody jealous of y'all and your flash new cars, vehicles here are expensive seriously I had an 89 Mitsi that was pretty ace, only paid $900 for it, sold it to the bro when I moved and didn't need wheels, got a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited back in September-ish, the red neck inside me is more fulfilled, you crank the Dixie Chicks up quite nicely with the eight speaker surround sound
