Hi all am a student paramedic on the other side of the pond in London England. Am looking to try n come to the USA on my study leave to do some work Experience/ observational shifts. Any help can you point me in the right direction??

There are a number of departments out there that offer ride-alongs. Once you have set your itinerary look to see what services cover that area. Contact them to make arrangements.

I've spent four of the last six years in US and can say with certainty you will thoroughly enjoy it, but you will find the Ambulance Service very different but that's just how it is I suppose

Now, get your bum down here to NZ and we can get on the piss :D

OMG about four years I talked to the FDNY about it and the end result was it was such an absolute bloody pain in the ass I just said forget it

well if thats gonna be the case maybe i'll try NZ instead n grab that beer :)
