In fact, by kiwi reasoning maybe we should just stop responding to any medical situation at the nursing homes, Lady J.s mom is a double leg amputee. That happened after her husband passed away. As both Lady J, and her brother were away from the house most of the day, working, and she felt too afraid to use her prosthetics, and either couldn't or wouldn't leave the house, she surprised her kids, Momma B, and I, by deciding to go into a local extended care facility/rehab center. Within weeks, she became either a member of every organization in the place, or elected to a position within the organization. Sounds quite dissimilar to a cucumber, huh, folks?
