I just became an EMT in NJ in January. There's no practical exam on the testing day. The exam is not computer based. Bring pencils, your CPR certification card and photo ID. It's about 100-120 questions. You receive your results in the mail in 4-6 weeks. Good luck!

Honestly speaking, I don't know who you are. But, what you said is insane.

Studying for a test is essential for any student.

Medical doctors (the people who create the standards for EMTs) have been studying for exams for ages. Seems to make sense to me. I don't see how studying for a test is wrong.....
