BushyFromOz Posted August 22, 2012 Author Posted August 22, 2012 Thanks mike. does anyone have experience with the mosby book?
BushyFromOz Posted August 23, 2012 Author Posted August 23, 2012 i actually thought this topic would get more replies than it has
DFIB Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 I don't think this is exactly what you are looking for but I reference Tintinalli's Emergency Medicine: A Comprehensive Study Guide quite often.

Tintinalli and Bates are my two go to reference texts. I don't have much experience with Mosby outside of the Paramedic text which I found marginally useful. It was bare bones with less than adequate elaboration on the various pathologies. Sent from my SGH-T989D using Tapatalk 2
BushyFromOz Posted August 23, 2012 Author Posted August 23, 2012 Tintinalli is awesome, we have it in the branch at work and its referred to as the "red bible" Its so darn expensive though!
paramedicmike Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 It is expensive. And worth every single penny.

I have a pared down version called "emergency emdicine - just the facts" which is pretty good how much are you paying for tintinalli over there?
BEorP Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Talley and O'Connor is also worth considering: http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/Clinical-Examination-Nicholas-Talley/9780729539050
