Hello Everyone,

I am starting this thread to see if there are any contacts or people on here familiar with the St. Louis / Eastern Illinois area. I have been a licensed EMT for about 6 months, have applied to numerous places to no success. I was just curious if anyone knew of any opening in the areas I listed. Or if anyone on here currently works in the areas i listed and had some advice.

P.S. I start Paramedic school soon, so I am looking for part time work.

Thank you all for your time,

Kyle

Kyle, you have applied with no success for 6 months so now your going to go to paramedic school? Have you considered moving or looked into EMS jobs elsewhere? Dont set yourself up to fail..........

It's my understanding that St Louis area is pretty fire based. So if you aren't a firefighter then you will have a hard time finding a job as an emt.

Where are you going to paramedic school at?

I've got a good bead on the Western portion of Missouri for ya but my understanding of eastern missouri is pretty fire based.

Drop me a pm.

Your state EMS office will be best able to answer this question. Please ask them.

What is PI? And I have no idea- I say what Mike says, contact your State EMS office. Be prepared with documentation and details.

Unless it means he was a really, really bad private investigator I'm gonna assume public intoxication. As has been mentioned, the state EMS office is where you need to get this answer.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
