I remember doing some very stupid things and taking some big risks when I was younger. I hope people would be capable of looking past that and judge me based on the person that I have grown up to be.

Just imagine if all the crazy things we did as kids got us a write up in the paper? Life would be over before it even began.

To be hones I'd much rather have one of these kids, those that took foolish chances when young, as I did, passing laws in my government than the radical Christian that's got no context for such things..wouldn't you?

I notice you said radical Christian and will take that as a recognition that there is diversity in every group. Not every christian would care what people do for kicks.

I think PR is a perfectly valid rout of administration. Dangerous and gross but valid.

Exactly DFIB. Nearly every person that I love and respect is a Christian, or now, some religion that I'm not. But I've yet to find a radical anything that I want making decisions on me or my family's behalf.

I'd much prefer the obviously, admittedly flawed to speak on my behalf than the obviously, unadmittedly self deluded 'perfect' person.
