Hi All,

My name is Trish and I am a 3rd year uni student studying a double bachelor degree in nursing & paramedicine in Australia. I look forward to reading some great stories and learning from the scenarios and advice of great EMTs the world over :)

Cheers,

Trish

Welcome.

We used to have quite a few Aussie providers here. They're not as frequent visitors anymore which is certainly our loss.

There are still a couple floating around, though.

G'Day

Where in Oz are you?

I lived in WA for a couple years way back in the mid 70's

I live on the other side of Australia, in Queensland. I was born in the late 70's... !

The story of my life: A lot of the folks on this board were born after I started my career, I guess that does make me OLD & grey.

The bone are starting to feel their age.

It just needs to be put into perspective though.

Had a Pt the other day that called me a young whippersnapper.

He was 96 and going in for a cut on his foot from playing soccer with a great x 3 grandson in his bare feet.

Loved his attitude!

Me too Trish! We should be buddies and compare notes on the way to care for geriatrics like Island...

And, when I say 'buddies..' ah hell, never mind.... :-)
