Columbus Officials Place Medic on Duty at Casino

So let me get this straight, you put a medic there when you have 2 other fire stations less than 3 minutes away. Sounds like a overuse of resources to me.

It's one thing to put a medic on his own there inside the casino but to place a ambulance there with a 1 minute response time versus a full response of 3 minutes seems silly.

The casino's in the KC MO area have full time medics on duty 24 hours a day. Do they think that the calls will just stop when the medic goes home?

I think this is just a waste of resources but a killer PR move for both the auto dealer and the city.
