This is so good...what a bunch of bullshit. I hope that he makes a mint.

You can't tell me that three cops, if they'd not been looking for a rodeo, couldn't have spotted an altered patient and known to look for a medical alert.

We often get frustrated by the wide gamut of persons under arrest we get called to assess by PD but this (as I try to remind myself constantly) is why. PD where I work is extremely diligent at this. I'm also consistently impressed with how they handle mental health calls. We're dispatched automatically with them and during certain hours (not enough but a start) they have a mental health team consisting of a plain clothes officer and a counsellor.

Insulin shock is frequently not recognized in traffic stops. It might help if it is called by it's name.

I hope the victim does well and LE are given additional training on recognizing Insulin Shock and Diabetic Coma.
