Richard B the EMT Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 While I'm a NY Mets fan, I recall a NY Yankees Home opener was canceled due to a late season snowstorm. Quote
Chief1C Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 I wore a tee-shirt and shorts today, it was beautiful! Fifty-Three Degrees! It's like June, but sunnier! Quote
scubanurse Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 It was 60 and sunny today here but a full on blizzard yesterday. I love Colorado, really I do! Ugh I can't sleep!!! This head cold thing going around is making sleeping very difficult! *grumble Quote
island emt Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 We're having mud season. The magical time of year when the days warm up , the maple sap starts to run, & the frost is still down a couple of feet in the ground. Every day the top layers thaw out and turn to soup. That time of year when all the gravel roads are posted to not allow trucks to drive on them in fear of sinking out of sight. The time for the annual town meeting the harbinger of spring. The Cardinals coming back to sing in the trees. Quote
ERDoc Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 (edited) While I'm a NY Mets fan, I recall a NY Yankees Home opener was canceled due to a late season snowstorm. As a Yankees fan, you have my sympathies but at least you get to have the All-star game this year. I am thinking about making a trip back home to watch the game. It's 45 degrees at 9am here and all of the snow is melting. I can see my grass again and it is just begging for a good trim. Can't wait to get out there and cut it. I say that now, but usually around August I start wishing my lawn was emo so that it would cut itself. Edited March 11, 2013 by ERDoc 2 Quote
itku2er Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Doc if your yard becomes emo please tell me how to make mine one! Quote
