So if anyone would tell me stap by stap process how to open my own ambulance transportation service in Pennsylvania i would really apriciate it.

Let me in on this!! Step 1. Buy a semi truck Step 2. Purchase a flatbed trailer. Step 3. rent a vehicle loading dock. Step 4. Go obtain your truckers licence Step 5. Try to score a contract with an ambulance manufacturer to transport their ambulances to and from their customers in Pennsylvania.

True dat.. Most of the privates around Philly are owned by the mob. Maybe you could get hooked up with one of them?

I don't think the OP had any idea when he came here to ask the questions.

It is easy to dream about wanting to do something , until that little thing called reality sets in and bites yer arse.

My take on the PA ambulance service is consolidation and closing of many of the volunteer department run services over the last several years.

At least that's what has been in the news.

Regionalization seems to be where many rural area services are headed.

In reality, it's not an impossibility, but, like someone else said, without EMS management experience, it'll be tough....also, this isn't really the climate for new services to come out of. The established ones are fighting hard enough as it is for reimbursement.
