Oldtimer Medic Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 I'm sure someone posted about this, and I'll admit I'm being kinda lazy starting a new thread, but does anyone else this Chicago Fire is utterly ridiculous? Forgive a newby if this was already started somewhere else
Arctickat Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 (edited) Naw, no one started a thread about it because no one cares. Edited January 3, 2013 by Arctickat
Oldtimer Medic Posted January 3, 2013 Author Posted January 3, 2013 Then I didn't miss out on any discussions haha! 1
Just Plain Ruff Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 actually I bitched about it when it first came out but it went no where. But it is a stupid show and it's so unrealistic that it makes my stomach churn with unrealized bile and stomach acid. But when there is nothing else on, and I've finished watching the paint dry on my walls and my family is asleep and all my other shows are watched, I do occasionally watch it just to laugh. But I guess last nights show was the most riviting of the year. The blondes life hanged in the balance. Did she die?
Oldtimer Medic Posted January 3, 2013 Author Posted January 3, 2013 Would anyone care if I did a spoiler? Of course not. She's too hot to die. My biggest complaint about the unrealism of the show was that there was never that many good looking people in my station and the women certainly never work skin tight shirts like that. Perhaps I retired too soon! Haha
island emt Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 You mean the office hottie in the short dress wasn't banging the FF's in the decon room at your station???
cprted Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 I think people need to take the show for what it is, a fictional drama meant to entertain the masses. It isn't supposed to be a documentary. 1
snoopy911 Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 You must have been at the wrong station. There was always some sort of sex going on at mine lol (sorry I haven't posted in a while, kinda been hiding)
Kiwiology Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 I know of one Ambulance station here where the duty crew were rooting .... tsk tsk tsk
thrutheashes Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 It's emtertainment flat out, and they are pandering to the lowest common denominator. Face it. Sex sells. And despite what they get wrong, they do get a bunch right, and it does have a half-assed decent storyline. As has been mentioned, it's a drama pandering to the masses, not to those of us in the services. I enjoy it, because I take it for what it is. BS
