EMT Assaulted, Punishment 10 Days Community Service?

A Brooklyn Assistant District Atterney skated on a Class C and D Violent Felony charge, after assaulting an FDNY EMS EMT in her ambulance. Instead of possibly 5 years on each felony to be served in jail, will instead serve 10 days of community service.

This is the worst male bovine excrement on an EMS member being assaulted that I can recall in a long time.
