Yeah, Dunn, I hear what you are saying, I also have heard a rumor in a neck of the woods where I used to work that a medic student intubated himself. Unfortunately that rumor was true and I actually know the medic personally so I was able to corroborate the rumor. That medic student nearly got kicked out of school for that stupid stunt.

Funny things these rumors, always a hint of truth, but never enough proof to hang the guilty parties.

Not quite the same thing but Richard Levitan regularly performs video laryngoscopy on himself in his airway courses. If anyone gets a chance to take one of his classes I'd recommend it. The Difficult Airway Course is also a good class to take.

Anyway, it's nice to see a member of the program in question commenting on the study.
