I don't see a problem with it. If EMS/Fire can assess a possibly dangerous scene before hand, what is wrong with that? You could even send it on ahead for an MVA to see if you will need additional resources. I disagree with the article that you can triage pts ahead of time. It's hard to check a pulse from 500' up. It could also help with SAR or finding fires in remote areas. I don't think it will ever happen since drones have gotten such a bad rap from the big brother is watching crowd.

Doc you are right on the money. I also have no issues with this but the big brother squad will be out in force on this. I'm sure patient privacy and the internet and the posting of images from the drones would be high on their list of privacy concerns.
