chbare Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 You are called to the residence of a "man not acting right."
Just Plain Ruff Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 He's learned something else today.
scubanurse Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Scene safe? General appearance? Vitals?
uglyEMT Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Yea what kind of scene are we talking about here? PD on scene? Local residence, field, park, ect? Whats the environment? Any chemical spills or confined spaces? More then one patient not "acting right"? Hell I'll go crazy... possible NCB attack?
chbare Posted September 24, 2013 Author Posted September 24, 2013 No apparent threats. Local residence. You see a male who appears to be in his 50's, in a supine position on the floor of the living room. He's surrounded by a few worried looking people. The patient does not appear to be moving or actively interacting with the environment.
uglyEMT Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Ok are the on lookers family / friends? Can they help tell us anything prior to the 911 call? Is the patient breathing? Pulse? Pupils? History of siezures? Epilepsy? What kind of meds is the patient currently on? Possibly OD? History of recreational drug use / abuse? Vitals?
Just Plain Ruff Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Are they perhaps having an exorcism.
uglyEMT Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 (edited) Are they perhaps having an exorcism. Edited September 24, 2013 by uglyEMT
chbare Posted September 24, 2013 Author Posted September 24, 2013 Patient is breathing and has a pulse but is currently unresponsive with snoring respirations at a rate of 22/minute. Bystanders say the he collapsed and "twitched violently" for a few minutes. He's on medications for some "lung problem."
