scubanurse Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Reading up on anatomy, reviewing pharmacology, and be in the mind-set to tackle the course and learn as much as you can and never stop learning, even when the course is completed.
island emt Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 A&P at the college level also asKate said Pharmacology and cardiology. Congrats
paramedicmike Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 As has been mentioned, a college level anatomy and physiology class. In fact, there are a whole list of college level classes that are probably important. There have been many discussions here in these forums about what is important. As far as physical items I really don't think you'd need much. The program will tell you what you'll need to get. Use what you have. Buy what you need but don't spend a lot until you get out and recognize how much you use, or don't use, the item.
Just Plain Ruff Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 As for the physical fitness aspect, I sure wish I knew at the time that strengthening my addominal and lower back muscles would be a key success marker for my not having significant back problems now that I'm 46.
