MY COMPANY ALREADY HAS AN ESTABLISHED AMBULANCE COMPANY IN NEW JERSEY NOW WE ARE THINKING ABOUT VENTURING OUT TO OTHER CITIES. MY QUESTION IS DO I HAVE TO OPEN A BASE IN NEW YORK CITY IF OR CAN I GET A PERMIT TO HAVE MY AMBULANCES DO BUSINESS IN NYC?

have you contacted the state of New York?  These questions are best answered by the experts at the State/local level, not us on this forum.

ACTUALLY I BEEN TRYING TO FIND THE RIGHT PLACES TO CONTACT FOR MY QUESTIONS BUT ALL I'M FINDING IS UNNECESSARY SITES AND NYC DOH  IS NOT VERY HELPFUL.

Oh I apologize I have a habit of keeping my caps locked not realizing that its considered yelling on social media and forums my apologies.

You need to apply to NYS SEMSCO for A Certficate of Need for the 5 boroughs of NYC. SEMSCO is a part of the NYS DOH EMS division.

To have a base and established in New York City you can't just be a venturing company coming into New York you have buy out a company already here to license and operate in New York City. 

 

Now in order to work and operate in New York City, I don't know how that would work because you don't exactly have the licensures to be here. There's no out of state ambulance companies around here barely any upstate or Long Island volunteer companies that can operate in New York City. Remsco falls under those who are established licensed to work for New York City. Good luck tho. Hope you have millions to buy out a company.
