The information in the following two links is important to have regardless of your environment. Active shooter events are something for which, unfortunately, we must be prepared. EMRAP, an emergency medicine podcast, has produced two podcasts discussing what to do if you find yourself in such a situation. As it's an emergency medicine based podcast the information is discussed as if taking place in an emergency room. However, the information can be applied in any setting. Link #1: This was originally produced in 2013 and released again last year. It's a fee listen and about 30 minutes long. Link #2: This came out this month. It's about 20 minutes long. Thought you may appreciate the listen especially given that the guy they're talking to is a paramedic as well. Be safe out there.
