Nervous Wreck Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 I was involved in a car crash On 5/03/2017 and received a careless driving citation while in truck driving school. Will this hurt my chance of getting employed as a otr truck driver with Werner Trucking?
FireEMT2009 Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 Nervous, I am not sure how to answer that question, as I am not a OTR truck driver. It may be better to find a forum that deals with OTR trucking to get the answer you need, or contact the company in general.
Just Plain Ruff Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 Probably, most trucking companies that I know fire their drivers the first accident so I'm thinking that with a careless driving citation while in truck driving school will pretty much preclude employment at Werner. why don't you look them up on the internet, get their national number, call it, ask to speak to HR and ask them directly. that's the best advice I can give you.
