It peeves me when you are running L/S and the man in the truck in front of out flat out ignores you. It would be nice if we can get license plate numbers and turn them in to PD and they will be mailed a fine for endangerment and failure to obey traffic laws. And you are correct Richard we should be driving with due regard to life and property, but other drivers should drive with due regard to emergency response vehicles as well. Time is of the essence in our buisness.

Only problem with an RPG is then you have to dodge a crater. Personally i think that EMP guns would be nice, If you want your car's computers to still work then pull over to the right side of the road

As for cars refusing to move for you, I saw, in my rearview mirror, someone being ticketed for just that. The cops saw her refuse to move out of my ambulance's way.

There are some systems that will record the forward view from the windshield, which save the last 15 seconds when detecting a collision, otherwise it keeps recording over and over. They ought to set it up with a selective switch to record those vehicles which won't move.

No way! Even a backpack nuke is way too powerful for the need, besides, the shock wave will break glass for a good distance, with people being cut by the shards. Can you spell "MCI?"
