Well, if they aim it just right, and you land just past the top of the arch, it just might work.

What a device. I, too, would not want to be a "crash test dummy" for this thing. I do find it rather disheartening that DoD is spending money for this, and not using the money for something more useful; like better armor for both our soldiers and vehicles that are braving even more danger then us as EMS and fire fighters could ever face.

Maybe they can use footage in recruitment videos! :D It sounds like a nifty idea that they'll need to fine tune some more. Seriously, better armor and other uses for this money... but now that they've got it going, don't just make it wasted money. Do something useful with it.
