ghurty Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 Hi, Is there a site/file that has a comparision between national protocols and the local protocols of NJ? Thaknx
Dustdevil Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 There are no "national protocols." This is America. We don't have a central dictatorial government telling local practitioners how to render care. And are you sure that NJ has statewide protocols? Very few states do. It's almost always a matter of local control. But if any state does, I would expect it to be NJ.
mediccjh Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 Yes Dust, NJ has statewide protocols. However, each MICU project can add more drugs, as long as the project's medical director gives his/her blessing. Here you will find the NJ ALS Protocols: [web:bffe1e507a]http://www.nj.gov/health/ems/documents/njac841r.pdf[/web:bffe1e507a]
mediccjh Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 OK, it wasn't supposed to work like that. Here's the link: http://www.nj.gov/health/ems/documents/njac841r.pdf
