Certification Levels for all 50 States

Missouri EMS Personnel are licensed as well... AND we have First Responders....EMT-I looks to be just around the corner...

Nevada looks accurate, but I know for a fact that here in Carson County there's EMT-B, EMT-I, and EMT-P.. in Washoe County (Reno) there's EMT-B, EMT-I, and EMT-P.. even though I've heard many people reference paramedics in Reno as EMT-II's? :? I've never seen Advanced EMT anywhere in Nevada though, although I may be wrong because I haven't been all over Nevada yet.

Arkansas has CFRs (Certified First Responders). EMT-P in Arkansas is licenced and an AAS version is offered, but not required. EMT-I I know is typicall the NREMT-I/85. I havn't seen I/99 around here and I don't know if they have a license or a certification.

Advanced EMT for PA? Wow, I've never heard of that. I know we've got a ton of basics here, but I never have worked with an Advanced EMT. Hmmm weird. If there's anyone that is an Advanced EMT, PM me, cause I'd like to hear more about it.

They just created it through the Act 45 re write.

You should be hearing about it in the next 6 to 10 months

AnatomyChick is 100% correct, the Missouri Unit of EMS is presently drafting the EMT-I scope of practice. Although there is presently not a requirement by the Missouri Unit of EMS, several colleges in Missouri are placing an emphasis on obtaining your AAS.

State of California no lomger has an E.M.T. Intermediate it is on the Emsa Web site but there are no longer intermediates just basics and Paramedics.
