Certification Levels for all 50 States

Rid I only know of 2 right now I'll go back through when I have time. The little teacher guy indicates an AAS or above is required.

The Pennsylvania PA EMS Physician is the medical command certification, and isn't actually a PRE-hospital certification level.

PHPA = PreHospital Physician's Assistant

The list has been adjusted. It once read pre hospital EMS physician. That doesnt exist. Physician, and physician assistant are different in the field, and in the hospital.

As well, all of Oklahoma EMS levels are licensed. From Basic on up... I am sure there are others, and it might be difficult to locate. Nice to know though...

I added the little green check mark to the states that license. There are others I just can't remember which ones, I'll look them up for you though.

I just left the system in Hawaii.

Their basics are registry EMT-Is. Interesting they require 2 semisters of A&P to get into their lowest level of certifaction.

They call their medics MICTs.

To be an MICT in KS you have to have an AAS degree in hand before being allowed to even test. We are working towards the license VS Certification thing but haven't made it yet....
